Common questions

My steps aren't showing. Steps Journey reads steps from Apple Health. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Steps Journey and make sure reading is allowed. If you revoked access, the app will show its empty state until it's re-enabled.

The widget isn't updating. Widgets refresh on a system schedule (roughly every 15 minutes). Opening the app refreshes them immediately. If a widget looks stuck after an update, remove and re-add it — iOS caches widget metadata aggressively.

How do I restore my Pro purchase? The paywall screen has a Restore Purchases button. Pro is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID (and shareable with your family via Family Sharing).

Where is my data stored? On your iPhone, and nowhere else. The app has no servers, no account, and no analytics. Your health data never leaves your device. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Does the app send notifications? No. Steps Journey never sends push notifications.
